WELCOME TO THE OFFICIAL MONKEY SWALLOWS THE UNIVERSE WEBSITE

With the final run of gigs now over, it's now time for us to hang up our monkey suits for the time being. Can we just say a massive thanks once again to everyone that has supported us in whatever capacity over the past few years. It's been quite a ride - we've supported Richard Hawley, Camera Obscura and The Long Blondes. We've been on Radio 4, Radio 6 and XFM amongst others. We've released two albums and three singles. We've played at Secret Garden Parties, in aid of Frogs, at the End of the Road, in France, for free beer and on a roundabout.

Don't expect monthly updates here from now on. If there's anything newsworthy that crops up, we'll post it here and send it to the mailing list as soon as we can, of course.

Don't forget that Nat has just embarked on a solo project. She's already played a few gigs on her own and has more in the pipeline. She's also made a few demos available to listen to already. Head over to http://www.natjohnson.co.uk for more info.

We're keeping the monkey suits in storage under lock and key. Who knows, we might get them out again one day to see if they still fit. If and when that day comes, we'll let you know. Until then - thanks again and bye for now.
